Never installed surplus , so ideal for parts if you repair.
Fully operable, opens and closes. Interactive mechanical enjoyment.
Cast iron and bronze created by American workers decades ago in the foundry and manufacturing plant of Clow Valve, a century old waterworks company with past and present roots in Oskaloosa, Iowa, Coshocton, Ohio, and Chicago, Illinois.
OS&Y (outside screw & yoke) denotes it is a fire main water valve. Bronze screw rises out of center of handwheel to make total overall height 36.5” when open. 29.5” tall when closed. 12” wide at base and at hand wheel. Weighs around 185 lbs.
Included are four iron lug washers with bolt/nut that act as chocks (tighten bolts to suit) to allow it to stand upright.
Shipped LTL on a pallet (please consider delivery to a place with a forklift or dock).
