    Description

    Antique Navajo Rug Rare 1910s 1920s Collectors.
    Rare large and fair condition Navajo Ganado weaving circa 1910-1915. The largest pieces are increasingly hard to find, this piece is measuring 101” long and 60” wide, 9 feet tall by 5 feet wide. Very nice lazy lines throughout, a very nice composition in regards to pattern and color choices and woven with thick spun wool. This piece was a wall hanging in its previous life, hence the fraying on the edge. Hung with frayed edge facing down it looks incredibly nice. There are a couple holes near the bottom with continuous warp showing through, but they are stable and not progressing in size even after it’s been hung for the last year. It’s free of stains and moth damage, and would make an amazing addition to a collection or any room it graces. It’s a superb piece and as stated, the large pieces go for significant amounts of money. This one is priced incredibly reasonably.
    The holes are stable and not progressing, they’re pretty common for a piece so large and so old, but yes, they are holes circa 1910-1915
