    Description

    NAVAJO INDIAN RUG from 1890. Very tight weave for a weaving of this size.  The size is 70" by 41". The rug is in really nice condition, we never used it on the floor, displayed on the wall.  I have owned it for 40 years, came from one of the oldest estates in this area.  The wool around center medallion has moth grazing as photographed. I took photos from behind with light in front to show the holes. It really does not show when displayed from front on wall. Fabulous display, time to pass it on.  We have lowered the price on this and are serious about selling!
