    Description

    Recent estate find. From the estate of an army officer assigned to the Los Alamos Atomic Laboratory in New Mexico. Approximate size:  48 inches x 32 inches.   Bears an old tag indicating the rug was priced at 0.00 back in the 1940s/50s and is hand made using vegetable dyed wool. This estate was packed with 19th/20th century antiques.
    Rug condition quite good.  This rug was hung in the estate 's living room.  I do not know the artist.  Exact age of rug is unknown. Blending of subtle colors is quite fine and intricate and best appreciated under light.  The symbol is a Navajo vector.
