.... Bright Pretty Barrette! Gorgeous glass~! This is a very wonderful barrette. Not too wild, but certainly stands on it's own. Almost conservative, while still being a little bit funky! SOLD INDIVIDUALLY.

, and the metal barrette back is made in France (that's the highest quality kind). This is a production item for us. You might not get the item in this picture, but it will be almost identical. We can make more than one of this item if you want to order multiples. This style comes in many colors, and matching earrings, pendants, barrettes, and other items are available. we work primarily with dichroic glass. Di-chroic means two colored, or multicolored). This type of glass transmits light in one wavelength, & reflects light in two other wavelengths. It is common for dichroic glass to appear as 2 or 3 different colors, simultaneously. Dichroic glass is coated with electronically excited metallic particles in a vacuum chamber, at elevated temperatures. In our studio, we start with large sheets of glass which we cut into small pieces. These pieces are specially arranged & melted together in a kiln to form our jewelry.
