    Description

    Comes with C.O.A.
Bring back of an A.E.F. soldier from the Great War!
These original WWI captured NCO German binoculars were designed by the CP Goerz company, one of Zeiss' major competitors. The Feldglas 08 (also known as the Fernglas 08) was produced from 1908 – 1919 by numerous German manufacturers including Goerz, Zeiss, Leitz, Busch, Rodenstock, and Spindler & Hoyer to meet German military design specifications. It became the standard German infantry binocular issued to non-commissioned officers in 1916. The Feldglas 08 was in part accepted because it was not as costly to manufacture. They still maintain partial sections of the original leather neck strap as this would have been worn around the neck of looped around the wrist of the German soldier peering into no mans lands. The green camo paint in still very visible on the binoculars making them very unique.
They are in amazing condition and still contain almost all the original camo paint!
