Description
Iron stock with corkscrew base with several 360 degree loops progressing up the shaft to anchor barbed wire for entanglements. These were universally used by every WWI combatant army, since the night trench wiring details discovered very quickly that pounding stakes attracted far too much flying lead and scrap iron. These could be quietly and quickly twisted into the earth, and became an easily recognizable symbol of the war. These are approximately 57" tall with four loop twists and a point at the top. Rusty (as they were at the time, also), but still quite solid and great for display. No WWI collection is complete without a couple of these! These are original posts from Europe. No, we can not tell you what country made/used these as they were used by all sides. Listing is for pigtails only--no stands or barbed wire included. If you are interested in more than one, we have a separate listing for these sold in lots of four.

PLEASE READ OUR TERMS BEFORE BIDDING:
Missouri residents must add 4.75% sales tax.
We are glad to combine multiple purchases for savings on shipping.
If you purchase more than one item from us, please wait to pay until we send you an eBay invoice with the correct shipping amount.
We print the USPS postage through the eBay system, so your package will be shipped to you exactly as it appears in your eBay account. We will not ship to alternate addresses.
We have learned this the hard way, with a few bad apples asking to have items sent to a different address, claiming that they have moved, etc. then using PayPal and eBay to end up with both the item and the money.
If you really have moved recently, then you need to update your eBay and PayPal accounts.
Payment:
We ask successful bidders to remit payment within 10 days of auction end.
